Review and Giveaway of TriLight Products

I was super excited when I was approved to try some products from TriLight Health. My dad is a huge fan of products that are herbal and/or natural. He is a big advocate of taking vitamins and give lots of advice (sometimes unasked for) about what we should take. Basically, I feel like he is a good resource if I have questions about what kind of vitamin I should take for one thing or another.

Because of my dad’s big support of taking vitamins and herbal products for health benefits, I was stoked to get to try something from TriLight. There were many different products that I considered trying. I eventually settled on Weight Loss Ayurvedic Care – Weight Loss Support. If you have been reading this blog for awhile you may notice that I mention getting healthier now and then. Since school let out for the summer, I made the big commitment to actually get in shape. I started dieting and exercising (at the same time!!), and this will be my fifth week of my self-created diet routine.

The second week of my attempt at weight loss was when I received the Weight Loss product from TriLight. I was nervous about it because in the past when I’ve tried weight loss products, it always makes me feel funny. I think I am very sensitive to medications and if there are any possible side effects I will likely have them. I was worried that even though this was an herbal product it would make me feel jittery. I had already determined in my mind that if it had that effect on me, I was only going to take it for long enough to do a review and that I would note that in the review. However, it has not had that effect at all.

You are supposed to take a certain amount of product based on what you weigh. It is supposed to help suppress your appetite, improve blood glucose levels, digestion and increase metabolism while reducing cravings. Now I can’t speak to the increase in metabolism or improved blood glucose levels since I didn’t have that tested, but I can tell you that it does help to suppress my appetite and that is a major thing for me. I now feel that I can be successful with this new diet and with exercise because I am not excessively hungry all the time.

My problem with food is that I love it. I love eating a great meal and I love eating desserts. I like that this product can help me eat less when I do eat so I don’t have to completely eliminate all the foods that I love. I can just eat less of them and stop eating when I’ve had enough as opposed to going back for seconds even when I’m full.

Now I cannot tell a lie about the taste. I don’t care for it. It is very sweet and I just don’t like it. I’d rather it tasted like medicine than the sweet way that it tastes. However, with that being noted, I will deal with the taste as long as it can help me curb my appetite.

The second product that I got the chance to review from TriLight was to help with my eczema. I decided to try this product because both my son and I have eczema. Usually this is the time of year when I have a breakout and I thought that I’d really get the chance to leave a review of the eczema product from Trilight. Fortunately for my little boy and I, we haven’t had an outbreak. That means that I can’t really leave a review about the effects of the NR Glow – Immune Support, which is good for support of your immune system and eczema. I did taste it, though, and the flavor is more pleasant than the other one. I don’t think I will have a problem getting my little boy to take it if he needs it.
