You can imagine yourself on the beach of some far away country when you crunch into the new Tropical Blends cereal from Honey Bunches of Oats. I got the chance to review some.  The flakes are mango flavored and that is combined with real shavings of coconut and clusters of granola that are coconut flavored. If you are a fan of mango and coconut, this will be a cereal you will really enjoy.

Here are a few stats about the new Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends:

– It has only 120 calories per serving.

– It has only 6g of sugar (compare that to 9g in Honey Nut Cheerios).

– It has 9 essential vitamins and minerals including 60% of the daily value of iron.

– It’s heart healthy. It’s been said that diets which are low in saturate fat and cholesterol and as low as possible in trans fat may reduce the risk of heart disease.  It has whole grains and zero grams of Trans Fat, 0.5 grams of Saturated Fat, and zero mg of cholesterol.

Great giveaway! I just wanted to let you know, so you don’t get in trouble with Facebook, that you aren’t allowed to have follow a page on FB as a mandatory entry 🙂 I didn’t know that til recently when a bunch of bloggers got reprimand letters from FB for that. I’m already a HBoO follower, but I just don’t want you to get a FB letter! You may want to make the first entry non-mandatory.

Yikes! Thanks for telling me that. I didn’t get a letter from FB so thanks for the warning!
