So summer time is right around the corner. If you are like most women you want to have summer ready feet. Many of us probably neglect their feet during the winter time. Come on, don’t act like I’m the only one who does nothing to their feet. Fact is, when the winter is here I just wash my feet, rub them down with a little lotion just like I do with my arms, legs, and face, and stuff them in socks and slippers. I don’t take any special care of them at all and they don’t deserve that treatment.
My feet are probably my least favorite thing to take care of because it always seems that even when I do try to take care of them, it is hard to do so. I have tried a lot of different foot creams and lotions to help keep my feet soft and smooth. I just recently started getting pedicures. I mean I resisted paying for pedicures for about 25 years because I refused to pay for something I felt I could do myself. However, now that I am a mother I have realized that it is more important now than ever to carve out a little time for myself. You are able to give more to your family when you are able to have a little down time to relax so I have treated myself to a pedicure every now and then. Plus, when you pay someone to take care of your feet for you they do a much better job than you can do…at least in my opinion.
So I said all of that to say that I have tried so many different foot care regimens that have just not worked for me. Every time I run out of a certain brand of foot lotion that claims to soften your feet, I try something different. I have just been using products from Walmart because that is what we have in our town. However, now I have had the opportunity to try something different that I might have never tried on my own. I got to review the Hydrating Spa System from Dermagist.
My friend happened to be at my house the day the product arrived so she tried out each of the products with me. The Hydrating Spa System includes a bottle of Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream, Hydro Renewal Hand Cream, and Hydropeutic Body Lotion. My friend and I each tried the products and my friend was kind enough to provide the before and after picture after trying the Foot cream. Here are her impressions:
With dermagist you see immediate results. Your skin is moist with out feeling oily. I would recomend this product to my friends. The only negative thing I would say is it was hard to open.
I agree that I had a little trouble opening the products but other than that, I liked them a lot. Now, I would probably not buy the hand lotion or the body lotion. They were really good but my hands and body are not problem areas for me. As I age if I need more moisturizing products, I will keep them in mind. What I would buy again is the Foot and Heel Revitilizing Cream. I feel that this product has become one that I will continue to use and will purchase once I run out. Unlike many foot lotions or creams, when you put on Dermagist it really goes down into your skin instead of staying on top of it. Lots of products that I have tried form a layer on top of your skin that you can feel and once you wear that layer off, your feet no longer feel moisturized. However, with Dermagist your feet stay soft and moisturized all day without you having to reapply. If your feet are a problem area like they are for me, I would give it a try. Dermagist has a 30 day money back guarantee so if you don’t like the product you can send it back.
