The Best Morocco Argan Oil

Can I just start this off by saying I have the driest hair ever?? Like ever. Any time I use any kind of moisturizer in it my hair just soaks it up like a sponge and the next day it’s dry again. And add to that the fact that my hair is super thick. It’s super thick like your arms get tired of combing after you have combed half of my head. I always feel kind of sorry when I go get my hair done at a salon cause I know it’s super thick but I’m always thinking in the back of my mind things like, “Well, it’s better you than me,” and “Hate it for you sweetheart but at least you are getting paid to do it.” That probably makes me a little bit of an evil person but I don’t believe in hell so I don’t think I’m going there for having those thoughts.

My hair is now 100% natural and I like trying new products to see what the effects will be on my hair. Some are good, some are meh, and some are not so good. Rarely do I get a product that is great. If you want to try the best Moroccan argan oil, I suggest you give this a try.

Review of Best Moroccan Argan Oil- Pure & Essential Minerals Morocco Argan Oil

What was this post supposed to be about? Oh yeah, I got to review an Organic Morocco Argan Oil Hair Treatment Mask. I honestly didn’t have very high expectations for it. I mean, I was willing to give it a try but didn’t realize that it would rock the very core of my being. Let me start at the beginning.

So today I decided I would use the best Moroccan argan oil–  Pure & Essential Minerals Morroco Argan Oil hair treatment mask. It’s been sitting atop my buffet where I put my purse for a few days now just because I always forget to take it to the bathroom where I normally do my hair. Yesterday when I was cleaning up, I decided to move it to my bathroom. This morning I decided was as good a time as any to try the product. I started off by washing my hair, and I got my wide tooth comb to comb through my hair when I applied the product. Before I got to do anything with the comb, I dropped it between the about 3 inch gap where my bathtub and vanity are. Once an item falls into the gap, there is no more seeing said item. I tried to fish it out with a rolled up magazine. I succeeded in turning the comb vertically instead of horizontally like it had fallen in. Somehow, the comb only got wedged further in there. Drat!

I realized that if I were going to try the Pure & Essential Minerals Morroco Argan Oil I was going to have to finger comb my hair. Fortunately, a couple of days ago I had already combed my hair out really well so it wasn’t very tangled. I sectioned my hair with my fingers and prepared to try the Morroco Argan Oil by grabbing a scoop in my cupped fingers. Then, the heavens opened up. A bright light shone upon my head and a heavenly chorus began to sing. I knew I was on to something special so I put the product on the section of hair. This product, this nectar of the gods, made my hair feel like I imagine heaven feels.

Now, I know on those Velveeta commercials they say their product is liquid gold but, I daresay that this is truly liquid gold. Instantly my hair began to feel soft and moisturized. Instantly. My heart skipped a beat. I felt that this was too good to be true. I thought maybe I had somehow slipped in the tub and whacked my head on the faucet and I was in a coma for surely a product such as this had not been in existence without my knowing. SURELY! How could this be? How is this possible? My previously dry, fro-ey hair was feeling like silk between my fingers. Silk I tell you!

I was able to finger comb my hair and apply the mask all over. I will tell you a secret too. Come a little closer. A little closer. Okay, now you’re in my personal space- just step back a smidge. I accidentally dripped a couple of blobs on the lid of my garbage can and I was like heck to the no, I’m not losing that. So I wiped it up and put it on my hair. I mean it was the lid of the garbage can not the inside right? I ever so carefully put the lid back on the tub of Pure & Essential Minerals Morroco Argan Oil so I didn’t waste any of my precious liquid gold.

I’m already sad for the day when I will run out. Whatever shall I do? Oh yeah, order some more on Amazon. Want to do the same? Here’s the link.

Okay, now I know this review may have been a little much but I really, really, really do like this product. After just one use my hair feels substantially softer and smoother. I can’t wait to see what it will be like after a week or two. I highly recommend you give this a try if you have dry, thick hair like I do. I was highly, highly impressed. As evidenced by my  rambling review. This has to be the best Moroccan argan oil ever. Seriously.

This time of year, your skin needs a little extra care. I have had the chance to try InstaNatural 100% Emu Oil. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this product. I was concerned that it would smell gross…since it’s Emu oil. I’m happy to report that it does not smell gross. It doesn’t have a smell at all to me. What it does do is moisturize my skin without making it feel greasy. You know what I mean? When you try an oil based moisturizer and your skin feels super slippery?

I tried the Instanatural Emu oil in my hair as well. It made my scalp feel moisturized, which is hard to do. If you tend to have dry hair and an itchy scalp, this might be a product that you want to try. I tried it on my actual hair as well and I didn’t really notice a differnce. I have super thick hair so I kept putting more and more on and didn’t really notice a difference. I didn’t know if I needed to put like 20 more pumps onto my hair so I figured I should just stop. Maybe if I had put more I would notice a difference, but I’m not sure. I think I will just keep it for my super dry skin.

It was a great moisturizer for my skin. I would recommend it for that if you have dry skin or eczema. I use it on the really dry spots on my skin and it helps me not want to scratch my skin raw because of the dry, itchy feeling. It’s worth a try, I think.

Kid Coder: Beginning Web Design

Do you know a kid who is really into technology? What kid isn’t, right? I had the chance to review a course on beginning web design meant for kids in grades 4-12. The courses are award wining and give kids the skills they need to create their own websites, video games, and apps. The curriculum is self study so kids can study when they want and move at their own pace.

I started working on the course that I received and it is definitely a detailed course. I wasn’t expecting as much as there is! Quite honestly, this is an in-depth, thorough course that can help your child get a head start at learning technological skills that can help them get ahead in their career.

I think that kids should be taught to code. Why can’t they learn html at school? Maybe not all kids would be into it but for those who are, it is a great outlet for creative energy. Not every child is interested in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Teaching them something that is useful and interesting like beginning web design offers an alternative to the coursework that they learn in school.

Imagine if this kind of course were available in every school. Students were taught basic coding in their elementary years and had the opportunity to learn more as they got older. Think about all the ideas that kids’ brains can come up with.

My impressions of the course that I tried is that it provides information in a way that progresses in such a way that kids can learn some of the basics about computers and end up knowing quite a bit. I only wish my little guy was old enough to try this course!

There are 4 independent course tracks that cover different subjects and age ranges.
* KidCoder: Beginning Web Design (4th-12th grades)
* KidCoder: Windows Programming (6th-8th grades)
* TeenCoder: Winodws Programming (9th-12th grades)
* TeenCoder: Java Programming (9th-12th grades)

You can learn more about them here.
I think if you know a child who shows interest in computer science, why not surprise them with this course or ask them if it’s something they might like to try? You never know. This might be a course that sparks their interest in computer science as a career. You might be helping the next Mark Zuckerberg.

Review of Priva Ultra Absorbent 300 Washes Waterproof Sheet Protector

When you have kids, there is a time when  you will need to work on sleeping all night without pull-ups and without wetting the bed. We have started that with our little guy (no, that’s not his picture above). I got to review a couple of products that can help. These are waterproof sheet protectors by Priva. You can find them on Amazon if you are interested. The ones I tried were:

* Priva Ultra Absorbent 300 Washes Waterproof Sheet Protector

and

* Priva P116/QS Super Eidersoff Bedpads, 34 Inch x 36 Inch

What I liked about both of these products are that they are super absorbent. They have four layers of protection that really helps to wick away moisture so I don’t have to worry about my little guy lying in his own pee at night like he’d have to do if he just had sheets. Hope that’s not too gross for you but if you’re a parent, you know what I’m talking about. I would definitely recommend these pads for anyone who needs to help their child learn to sleep through the night without a pull up.

Another use that I could see these pads being for would be for elderly individuals.

I could even see these as being useful to put in different areas of the home where you would want to keep messes contained. There are really a lot of options to use these products.

So the thing you want to know when you read a review is whether the product works like it says it will or not. From my experiences, these products do work.
