Review of Ozeri Cardiotech Blood Pressure Monitor

My husband monitors his blood pressure. I don’t. The only time in my life that I checked my blood pressure was when I was pregnant because my blood pressure was kind of high when I was pregnant. Recently I went to the doctor and the bottom number on my blood pressure was borderline high. He told me that he wanted me to monitor my blood pressure by checking it at different times of the day and keep track of what I found so that I could report back to him the next time I went to his office.

Fortunately, I got a new blood pressure monitor from Ozeri. It’s the Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Intelligent Hypertension Indicator, if you want to know the exact name for it. I had gotten it in the mail probably a week before my doctor’s appointment so it was sitting on my buffet, waiting to be taken out of the box. I still procrastinated doing it. We were doing some reno in our home and were out of town so things were kind of crazy. When I finally checked my blood pressure, it was normal. I have checked it a couple of times since then and it has been fine. I went back to my doctor today and it was fine there too so that makes me feel better.

Anyway, let me tell you what I liked about this blood pressure monitor. It is powered by a state of the art CPU that improves accuracy. If this is new technology, I would think that the blood pressure monitor that we have had for probably five years or so is not as accurate as the Ozeri but I don’t know for sure. I mean, it’s been five years so surely the technology is better by now.

Here is some technical stuff about the Ozeri, or Oz as I like to call it. The Ozeri CardioTech BP3T utilizes Measure While Inflate (MWI) that varies the process of inflation according to the individual’s blood pressure which is detected in real time. This lessens the time it takes to measure blood pressure as well as makes it more comfortable for the user.

There is a blue LCD with LED backlight, touch sensitive buttons, and a slider switch that you can use to keep memory for two users. It stores up to 120 blood pressure readings with date and time memory recall. This is perfect for keeping track of blood pressure over time, like my doctor asked me to. Some other cool things this does is that it automatically classifies each reading according to World Health Organization hypertension guidelines and calculates your average blood pressure based on the last three readings. It also detects if a user has an irregular heartbeat.

The Ozeri CardioTech Blood Pressure Monitor comes with 4 AAA batteries, a medium sized arm cuff (8.7″-14.2″/22-36 cm), a carrying case, and user manual. Get the Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Intelligent Hypertension Indicator on Amazon.

I definitely recommend it if you are looking to buy a blood pressure monitor. This one comes with a five year warranty, so if you ever need support, you can get it.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
